Founded in 1969, River Oaks School was established to provide a quality education to students in northeast Louisiana. Beginning with eight grades housed in temporary buildings, River Oaks has grown into a school comprised of classes ranging from pre-kindergarten to the twelfth grade on a beautiful twenty-acre campus. In its five decades of service to the families of northeast Louisiana, River Oaks has experienced tremendous academic, athletic, and artistic success, sending students into careers in the law, medicine, education, music, and professional sports, as well as many other fields of success. With each new year, River Oaks School seeks to continue the legacy of greatness established in years past.
